Ya, your right about the MM team, but i don’t think the county game thing matters to be honest.

I actually owe Brian Aherne from Cork an apology, the guy I’m thinking of is an obese, slovenly character who hung around the commerce block in UCD perving for a few years.
He is indeed visually impaired and a social retard as well. I hope neither Brian ever reads this.
I believe the Developmental Cork team beat St Colman’s today by a couple of points…Big Win for Gerald who came out swinging after the match asying he has been ratified as manager and that is that…
They should be destroying that Colmans selection.
It’s some mess.
How’s that? Did the Colman’s team not include the likes of Fergal McCormack, Stephen Molumphy, Timmy McCarthy, Neil Ronan, James Murray, Andrew O’Shaughnessy and Brian Murphy? I would have thought beating a team with these stars wasn’t a bad effort at all.
Don’t forget the Clatre legend Barry Murphy SS**…
Also i believe Cork used 24 or 25 lads so it is hard to keep hurling with that many changes also the breeze and weather conditions hardly suited hurling/score taking…
the indo today reports that several ‘former cork hurlers’ were in attendance at last nights launch of ‘Blood Brothers’.
old habits die hard it seems!
Lets say the conditioning of a number of the Colmans players would leave a little to be desired.
What’s ironic about it all is, the muppets who are always wading in knocking the Cork hurlers will now probably be shouting them on next year, if the current system prevails.
Having spoken to a few guys over the wekk there doesn’t seem to be any ill-feeling towards these young fellas from the players, with the word from the players that this was their thing and they wouldn’t blame any guy for taking the oppurtunity to play for Cork. That could maybe taken with a pinch, but at least its something positive.

rebel troops are awaiting sean halpins statement on the roy affair before deciding their next move and which newspaper journo to use
It seems 20 or so of the “former cork hurlers” were training as a group in Mallow last weekend. But did not break any rules as it was not an official training session organised by the county. Seems a strange way to spend your retirement from the intercounty game.
There was a photo of them in Mondays Indo. Have been looking for it online but can’t find it.
It was a photoshoot and press call
and I was just about to ask who from the press were here.
I see they’re still flying solo on the publicist then
This could all be a cunning rouse from the CCB and hurlers to get around the two month ban on training.
Announcement there this evening that the striking players have refused to enter into talks with county board and that the county board have now closed the door on any futher discussion with the strikers this year.
McCarthy has said that players are still welcome to make themselves available for the coming year, but that he is going to concenrate on getting his panel ready for the year ahead.
Where to from here for Donal Og et al?

good bye siptu and good riddance
Watching the news this evening it crossed my mind that for the first time ever I’ll probably be hoping that Cork do well in this years championship.
Fair play to McCarthy. Another very good statement from him this evening. He has shown great, steel and determination throughout the whole saga.

actually another thing to mention is the dignity that the 09 squad have carried themselves with, consdiering all the shit going on in the background with the media blatantly ignoring them not referring to them properly and the malice, dirty tricks and abuse they had to dealwith for the honour of pulling on a red shirt.
I wish them all the best and i hope they blank kieran shannon and his ilk
Expect ranks to be broken by this weekend.

Donal Og is withdrawing from all GAA activities to concentrate on the Cunt of the Year campaign, too many balls to juggle
