There’s a scatter of Cherry trees at my parents place. They get a fine crop every year but just before they ripen they shrivel up and die. Any idea what would cause that ?

Would that qualify as gin?

Working from home today.

Karma’s gonna get you man.

They’re probably married.:grinning:

I’ve a big bill to pay so. That’s neither my first nor my hundred and first.

Three more of my feathered friends got work-from-homed today.

Bottled the cherry vodka this evening and had a sneaky half glass. Beautiful. Really intense cherry flavor and highly alcoholic.

You’ve just given me an idea what to do with my cherry tree. Any ideas for a peach tree?

Would it make a good aperitif?

Schnap…

It would. It would be lovely in a cocktail too

Peach cider.

Anyone?

Got a tip off from a pal about a Boreen that was absolutely laden with sloes. Sure enough it was. Reckon I’ll be making industrial quantities of the sloe gin this autumn
