I came on a line of them crossing the old Dublin road in Laois driving up to dublin 17 or 18 years ago
That was a stoats funeral.
If a stoat dies the call will go out and stoat will come from miles around to carry the dead body away with the others marching behind in procession. God help man or beast that interrupts that march. I know of a dog that got his nose taken clean off after disturbing one.
