Two equal groups of 7, inspired by my two equal groups of 6 proposal. There may be some sort of cross group games too? Minimum three home games for every team.

I think both divisions are equal, 2 A teams, 2 B teams and then the rest. So something like

Group 1
Cork
Clare
Waterford
Galway
Offaly
Laois
Carlow

Group 2
Tipperary
Kilkenny
Dublin
Limerick
Wexford
Antrim
Westmeath

or something to that effect. Top 2 teams from each group play in the semi final. Both groups are ‘equal’.

I also believe next years league is played as originally planned with Cork in Division 2 and is used for ranking purposes for the new structure which would start in 2015.

At least that’s what’s been proposed. Not sure who is behind it but it seems logical enough so no doubt it won’t be passed.

it’s two groups of 6 not 7.
Play every one in your group and two “graded” teams in other group for a total of seven games.
the ‘graded’ part sounds like a load of bollocks.
