FFS. They lose on one game, maybe. If it rains the day Cork are at Wexford park then maybe it makes no odds. The crowds for league games in these counties are awful, when Wexford hosted Cork in Div 1 there was never that many people.
For them to publicly single out Cork now is absolutely stupid. Cork may well have been very involved, but there are people from other counties in charge. What have they done in the interim 2 years since they got relegated to make sure this couldnât happen again? Not a lot I would suggest. Itâs making their stance look petty. Itâs not Cork they should be going after, itâs the system or the people that allow this to happen and let all this cloak and dagger behind closed doors shite go on.
Believe me, Iâm in Wexfords side, I have a strong dislike for the Cork CB, but Wexford are making a Hames of this.

Point of order here. Wexford got excellent league crowds for the likes of cork. Youâre inventing statistics.
Doesnât matter what anyone hasnât done in the last 2 years. This proposal is disingenuous and wrong. And no amount of deflection, distraction and finger pointing can make it right.
If it is a thing that it goes ahead, I sincerely hope that Cork get relegated. It might happen too because they are utter cack.
If this was anyone other than Eexford youâd see it my way, thatâs the type of view and impression you give here.
Of course it matters what they didnât do in last 2 years. Action is everything. Successful counties/teams/people make things happen, others talk about it.

Hey Kev, learn to accept that people will have different outlooks to you. They might even be more valid.
A lot to do with the 2004 semi you woul imagine.
Both teams are crack now so nobody would go.

Get off the stage appendage.
The 2004 semi? Donât be ridiculous. Twas the second championship game in a row Cork hammered us out the gate, that wouldnât give anyone appetite.
So people are turning up to see the opposition and not Wexford. Do you not see that as an issue?
@glasagusban - Appendage always comes across to me as a âget the fuck over it and drive onâ type of fella. Not a huge amount of personality, but not a huge amount of bull shit either. If this wasnât Wexford I genuinely think heâd view it differently.

Youâre right on the personality bit.
This would be wrong regardless of which counties are impacted. Clearly more annoyed that it impacts Wexford.
Itâs total bullshit. And those gutless limerick cunts are as bad as cork in all if this.

When the system was brought in in the first place and limerick and Wexford threatened not to play in it, why did Wexford back down? Limerick were arguably bought off by the Aussie rules game in the Gaelic grounds. Both counties should have stuck to their guns and would have had considerable support. Doesnât reflect well on either county but then not much the limerick county board does reflects well on them.
Wexford are detemined to fight the proposed resolution at next Saturdayâs Central Council League meeting- Why donât these cunts just fuck off? They will be promoted up next year in place of Limerick- Whatâs another year?
