Iâd agree and I was surprised at Mullane talking them up so much on the radio yesterday.
Undoubtedly theyâre going to be thereabouts but a few of them (Larkin, Walsh, Shefflin) are showing signs of creaking a bit and Cody is noticeably blooding more players than usual in the League so far. Granted, a squad of their quality may only need 1 or 2 players a season to come through but itâs far too early to judge them.
Just got a first look at the Tipp game there now and Tippâs first 3 goals all came off bad errors, as did the last KK one. A lot of possession was turned over easily by both teams and use of the ball was poor at times. Callinan had one of his good days but is just as capable of going out next time and having a stinker.
Tipperary have put themselves under a lot of pressure to deliver this year and, so far, I havenât seen a whole pile to be terrified of.

Defending has been poor. Kennedy and Holden doing alright but Tommy and Hogan very poor, Joyce not great and Willie Phelan was yanked after 25 minutes.
Padraig Walsh doing alright in the centre but Lester Ryan has been poor. Wally and Henry leading the charge up front. TJ not really in it, Fennelly has made a couple of good runs and looks like he could cause them problems if he does more of it. Kelly working hard but end product not good enough. Farrell is poor.
Still alive but not looking good.
Donât even bother responding to this post glas.
Thanks Peter. Itâs good to know you have my back. Plus I donât think Iâve been having pops at people. I do hate Brennan though. And any self respecting limerick man or right thinking individual should hate him as well. Donât allow that @Mark Renton bully you either. Sounds like you have his number though.

Numerous cowardly off the ball incidents, the guy was just a sneaky and dirty hurler. A much-discussed-on-this-forum sports journalist highlighted a number of incidents in his column following the 2007 final. I wonât go beyond that, suffice to say I find him an intensely dislike able character.
Lads really youâre good guys. Look seriously youâre going to have to forget about Limerick. Honestly lads theyâre going to break youâre poor tender hearts. Come on over, support Tipp lads, you both know you want to. You both know deep down that Limerick will never win an A I this side of WW3⌠Look Iâm trying to be nice lads. Come on ⌠come on ⌠Just forget about them. Youâll be glad I swear⌠Look at me sure⌠Anyway Iâll leave you to think about it⌠Tipperary people are very decent people you know⌠Itâs a decision youâre going to have to make and the sooner the better.
