Jamie Coughlan was our match winner against Wahurford in 2012.Stephen Moylan terrorised the Clare backs in the all ireland finals. This lad has it all strength, ball winning and scoring ability.
Moylan was so ineffective v Clare his man abandoned him to do some scoring himself FFS. The lad wouldnât tackle his granny
Coughlan was dropped
There are none of that minor team on the Waterford senior team, you shiteblower.
A chance, but highly unlikely. Dubs have a better chance.

A double Ireland Medal holder form the 80âs served me chips in a fast food outlet in North Galway yesterday.
So what lads. Maybe they wouldnât be working at all if people didnât know them. The training those lads did would have no affect on their employment opportunities anyway.
Some dreadful snobbery in Ireland sometimes.
Itâs a choice, they donât have to do it
And itâs not all teachers and students either. The Cork football team of the Counihan years had a very high % of guys working full time in highly demanding jobs. They worked around it. There is also a pile of exaggeration goes on. Only a couple if teams were doing the stupid training
I also know some lads were saying they were doing a session every morning when in fact some of it was 10-15 minutes core and flexibility before work.
Where do he say that?
Typical example of not reading what was said. And then an even bigger browl comes along to Add a clamping
hurling really isnt that important when you think about it, especially the sacrifices that Griffen made for an actual cause that you might need some day, youâre some scumbag badmouthing him on here, take that shit to kstand and the lads on the other forum who is at it all the time.
@Bisto has called you out here, i can imagine you cursing 14 year olds in your filthy Pat OâDonnell jacket and abusing a young fella for not training as he has a leaving cert in a few months and telling him some shit about the real reward is croke park in august but by 30 heâll be joining you shovelling shit, by 50 heâll be thinking of jumping into the slurrey pitâŚ
anyway the real point is only be deluded or the damned will be playing intercounty hurling in a few years if these âsacrificesâ as you put it are requiredâŚ
Iâd agree with you mickee. It might have been alright in the 80s but in this day and age any young fellow with a bit of go in him is going to look out for himself and tell the Bainisteoir to fuck off for himself if all the future holds for him after an All Ireland is shovelling chips in to some cunt like @Kinvaraâs Passion on a pair of broken down legs.
Peter knows the score
I do.
what an incredibly stupid post. intercounty hurlers with any degree of intelligence and ability get far more out of playing the game than they ever put in to it. I wish Tony Griffin well in his endeavours but the contention that playing for clare was some type of massive sacrifice that caused him to miss out on anything is frankly bullshit.
Are you seriously trying to suggest that his cycle across canada would have been anything beyond a 2 minute and finally
moment on the six one news if he had not been a clare intercounty player and an allstar in the first place.
I have met him and he is very very committed to what he is doing and i wish him well but there isn`t a doubt in my mind that he would have achieved just as much and maybe more had he continued to play for clare and did his cycle later in life possibly even as a multiple all star. I would have been delighted in fact if he had been part of last seasons all ireland success to crown a distinguished career. as it stands he is lumped in with a group of underachieving players that came through from the minor teams of 97 98 and 99

you are too ignorant abusive and plain stupid to reply to in any meaningful way. why don`t you go kick a palestinian or something instead of venting on here

What age is Griffin? Even if he had stayed on, i canât imagine he would of been part of last years panel.

i think he was a minor in 99, definitely 98 so he would have been 32 / 33 or so. for a man who prepared the way griffin did i would have no doubt he could have done the training

What a cunt you are. Iâm sure Tony regrets not climbing into the little box you created for him
I love sport and have been deeply involved for many years, I daresay contributing multiple what you do, but sport has itâs place too and the Clare Senior hurling team doesnât just exist to give jumped up cunts like you something to wave your flag about.
You are one seriously arrogant cunt.
To be fair Finnerty owns the fucking joint since 1990 and its a gold mine.
Thatâs a clamping for mickee so

Couldnât agree more, splendid post.
Could you be anymore sarcastic. Youâre a right cunt when you want to be.
Stay out of this you vile bastard, Iâm in total agreement with my friend on this one, heâs nailed that cunt to the wall here.
