I'd say in her day

Did I read before that Landon was a bit of a prick? A mad man for the drink?

Edit: I dunno where I got the being a prick thing from.

I donā€™t actually remember the Waltons from that time, it was when it was repeated later in the late 80s/early 90s that i remmeber it with the sunday dinner, Little House was massive in Ireland in the early 80s, every time youā€™d find yourself running down a hill youd spread your arms wide like Laura and hum the theme tune

The mother was a lovely lady

Another one like you said is Dynasty and Falcon Crest, ask me to hum one and Iā€™ll invariably do the other, donā€™t think Iā€™m unusual in that

And Dallas of course

De de deh dedede deh deh. Little House.

Dididum dumdumdumdum. Waltonā€™s.

Not really, everybody knows the theme tune for Dallas, is it the most famous of all time, possibly.

No. just adding it to the list of TV of the day.

Great theme music to Waltonā€™s, but not a patch on the greatest theme of them all

Dallas. Falcon crest. Dynasty.

A young lad in early 80s Ireland could be forgiven for thinking American beds had L shaped sheets that covered a woman to her shoulders and a man to his waist

By god, Connie Selleca is a live one for this thread, an absolute lasher, definitely the best known theme tune of a fairly shitty show from that generation
