It is indeed. I live right-ish, just before the water, looking over to the top right where I used to live.

As long as Brewbakers is still open post Friday night racing, that’s all that matters to me.

This guy or his bro belonged to the best stroke hauling family in Cork in the 70/80s and whilst being chased by the bailiffs ran up the stairs in the roundly house” pub and pulled a decent salmon out of his trousers while I was having a damper.
Different times, though poorer we certainly were happier on Cork
For non Corkonians @ stroke haulers are poachers ( salmon poachers)
Using a treble hooker and weight, you cast the treble hooker behind the salmon and whip him up.
Also they used similar with a treble hooker at the end of a 4/5 ft bar , waded in and waited for the fish-haul him out
