Or been fed rubbish or else you are only listening to what you want to hear. The arthritis mist likely you were suceptible to, possibly. But what you probably feel more comfortable with is the idea that you had nothing to do with the arthritis.
But you played alot of sport by the sounds of it, sat in an office alot but never did any strength training. Would that be correct?
Have you had joint replacement?
What was the heredity disease you have?
Was exercise the first port of call from your practitioner? And what was the general gist of the exercise?

You, assuming normal limb lengths within a few cmās, should be a longer than me. There are other factors like big feet etc. So its only 1 indication. Another is the angle you are getting from heel to wall when you push in.
Its not an exact science. Just a general assessment.
