International Elections Thread

Mick Jagger in the 70s was hard to knock back. Some women struggle to knock him back now.

The ISIS comment was a joke, it was what some hard right supporters said might happen with him. trudeau and the only member of parliament considered cooler and hipper than him, minister for defence Harjit sajjan, have had no scruples about upgrading the military and selling arms to saudi anyways. Trudeau isnt trump, he didn’t win based on a protest vote against insiders or a populist uprising, his father was the PM! he won as the electorate had grown tired of harper and the conservatives. Similar to how the paddies used to cycle between fine gael and the soldiers of destiny once familiarity bred contempt.

A great result in Austria today, the move away from left wing politics continues :clap:

Lovely to see Alexander Van der Bellen win the Austrian presidential election.

It is great to see the politics of Austria swing right, away from the left wing extremist’s and towards a candidate of the centre.

Hmmm, take a look at the previous president and take a look at the new president, you will see the new president is far more right wing than the previous president.

Give it a rest. You were routed pal.

Any exit polls for the Italian referendum?

I guess the facts don’t suit the left wing extremist’s :joy:

How will the radical left wingers frame the French decision between the “right wing candidate” and the “very right wing candidate” :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

‘No’ expected to win, however the EU ‘democrats’ are hoping that a low turnout in southern Italy will help to boost the ‘Yes’ side.

We expect that Italy will leave the Euro within 2 years.

Good to know that both of your equally thick split personalities are in agreement.

You are a hateful little creature

You couldn’t keep your word and refused to retire your busted flush loser account :joy:

Looking like 54 to 46 for the Noes

Between 54 - 58% victory for the ‘No’ side. :+1:

John Mauldin wrote a good article a few days ago regarding how this will probably go.

Renzi accepts responsibility for the loss, he has announced he will resign :+1:

Our "Italians " on this site silent . Today they spent their day on about EPL rather than the Roman Derby .

The EU has been very very bad for Italy, Italians are not happy and their country is a mess.

EU seems to equal low growth and high unemployment

Meh, we change governments like it’s going out of fashion.

Italy changes governments more often than @ProjectSex gets a reply to one of his posts.

Seeing as you are an advocate of rapists and terrorists, this is a very concerning post.

It appears you have reneged on your word to retire your account if Donald Trump became president.

Have fun spending 14 hours a day for the next few years researching nonsense and fighting with strangers over the Internet.

P.S: don’t forget to do some research on “Life”, because you might accidentally get one :joy:

Looks like we have won with approx 60% of the vote :+1:

Keeping the EU together is going to be very tricky indeed.

Merkel’s numbers are trending back up again though, the Social Democrats really are stuck there by being in the Grand Coalition and the disenchantment with Merkel coming from the right.

France and/or Italy will bring the house down.
