Iraq / Middle East / Murder Thread

How will that affect qualifying for the next world cup?

They need to get back onto their marketing people about that name. Surely they could come up with something better.

Is @Julio Geordio of Muslim extract? He seems to know an awful lot about this ISIS craic for a spud munching muldoon

Saddam’s reign doesn’t seem so bad now… the fucking Americans and their freedom fries

I know many things Chewy

How long is your beard?

His real name is Hamhead O’Neill

Myhamhead

Could have a massive effect if they succeed Mark, they are basically looking for a re-establishment of the Ottoman Empire (as in the area it would control anyway), if they were to succeed they’d be able to call on all of the Middle East initially. Then after later expansions much of North Africa and Turkey at the peak of their power they’d even have a few Spanish and Portuguese lads in the team. They’d definitely be contenders.

Previous Caliphate expansion below for reference.

Beards are for hipsters.

@Julio Geordio ill put up a proper post soon
the place is an absolute mess. Egypt is now a madhouse with a complete power vacuum since Mubarak was kicked out and in now officially a state with no law and order whatsoever, The sinai pensinsula adjacent to israel is no longer in the control of the Egyptian military and is now run by various Islamic jihad groups and human traffickers smuggling people from South Sudan across the Israeli border, some fucking revolution all right that was in Egypt,
Syria is relatively quite, but its another Egypt in the making once Assad goes.
The situation in Israel is always chaotic, the 3 Israeli teenagers that were kidnapped by Hamas outside Hebron last week are still not returned, the IDF peformed various raids into the west bank but alas came up with nothing, this could be another Gilad Shalit situation i think, The West Bank is an even bigger mess Fatah and Abbas went into an alliance with Hamas ( the same crowd who killed most of then in Gaza in 2007 during the Hamas takeover) , Netanyahu is now refusing to speak with Fatah as he dosent recognize Hamas and Abbas is now seething as the guys who guaranteed him they would help him negotiate went and kidnapped the 3 kids, in reponse Israel built a few more settlements… they can all go to fuck as far as im concerned

You reckon these ISIS lads are any threat Mickee? Or will they just collapse in time?
Does the instability suit israel or make them nervous?

imagine the Catholic church in Ireland in the 1950’s armed with tanks and guns going into villages and cities raping men, women and children… that’s exactly what ISIS are, they’re the same as that Janjaweed crowd in Darfur, apparently its all done in the name of God

What’s the best news channel for following this? Preferably a balanced view of things.

Sky News, CNN or Fox News all worth a look.

Has Kay Burley flown to the region yet? Until she does, I refuse to believe that this is serious.

Nah, they’d be like Galway. The tommies lads wouldn’t pass to the port lads and vice versa. They’d give brazil a rattle, and then lose to some no mark team like England, or get hammered in a replay, in time for the camel races.

Fox News for a balanced look!:)
