Iraq / Middle East / Murder Thread

World peace must start within each individual’s being.

These ISIS lads would really benefit from meditation.

Possibly. It’s either that or a shift to socio-political systems that pay less attentions to religious divisions.

While that seems impossible to some people, the Arab Spring was by and large driven by young people who were demanding exactly that. Also, it’s not that long since the big ‘threat’ in the region was secular Arab Nationalism as exemplified by Nasser, who the US & UK labelled ‘Hitler on the Nile’.

Part of the problem is that the US is reluctant to back the secular democratic movements such as those that emerged during the Arab spring because they are by definition difficult to control and because they also have a tendency to lean to the left. Iran won’t back them because they are secular. And Saudi Arabia won’t support them for the same reason. In the absence of democratic secular nationalism or some version of pan-arab socialism, it’s hard to imagine anything except a re-drawing of the map through military force being the future for the region.

If the NSA installed Headspace on their phones it’s hard to see how it wouldn’t make a big difference.

Its the biggest shithole in the world.

Have you been to Athy?

the latest Isis execution video is out lads, jesus it is savage, they are so creative, first up they locked a a few lads in a car, then blew it up with a rpg, you could hear the victims screaming as they burnt to death, next up, they put a few lads in a big cage and lowered them into a swimming pool, they even had underwater cameras to record their death, some operators these lads, then they executed a few lads, by blowing their heads off with explosives, even Ramsey Bolton would struggle to come up with methods like this

Hi-jinxTassoti, let them at it.

The world needs to reach an agreement that Isis be eradicated, suspend all other hostilities until they are wiped from the face of the planet, and then recommence. Arming the Kurds to the teeth would be a start.

You are assuming the world wants ISIS gone. Suits a lot of them.

As Tassoti will no doubt tell you, if Game of Thrones has taught us anything, its that sometimes real life isnt that simple.

True enough. Someone should start a “lessons for life that game of thrones has taught us” thread. Isis are the shank ill butchers of the Middle East struggle. Opposing sides should collude to wipe them out, then its as ye were lads.

Has anyone a link to this? :man_with_turban:

false flag, expect bombings of children by the imperialists any day soon with this as the justyification

what?why would anyone want to see people being tortured and killed

Ah, hard to say. Boredom. Curiosity. The “road accident reflex”. Any number of reasons.

The explosive rope one looks genuine and horrific. The other 2 ( burned in car + drowned in cage ) just don’t look right. I’m not sure are the lads drugged up To their eyeballs, they look remarkably calm for lads about To diE A horrible death

I never knew white foam comes out of your mouth when you drown

The car looks very fake. Yer man was still holding onto the grip above the door. Maybe they were just told they were allowed to drive home and were really happy.

The lifting of the cage out of the water would be a great cinematic scene. Better background music needed though.

@ chucks.
Were their hands tied to the door handles ??
Either way a lot didn’t add up in it.
Imagine if the Ra had acess to recording equipment like that in their heyday.
Gruesome vids of RUC officers being tied to pto shafts and likes I suppose.

Liam Adams could have done a Jimmy Saville impersonation on a few young ones with Gerry and McGuinnes as the cameramen
