Future generations will look back on it the way we look at lobotomies now and be appalled by what was left happen. I often thought if someone as powerful as Joseph Kennedy was influenced in getting his daughter Rose lobotomised, it illustrates the harm that can be caused when people ājust go alongā with the prevailing narrative. Fast forward to 2023 we now have genital mulitation. And thats exactly what it is, only dressed up as gender affirming care. Anyone that I know with young children are terrified of whats happening in our society and they are not all on the internet searching right wing accounts.

Youāll have to ask the governmentā¦ Iāve seen online that a few special advisors to government on gender issues were outed as being extremely radical pro gender warriorsā¦ the kind that believe 12 year olds can be pumped full of hormones and have life changing operations without parental consent as you can get in US/Canada currently. Thatās the tide weāre up against. As the article above points to, thereās a certain amount of lobbying and self-interest groups informing government on these issues alsoā¦
All the same shite that weāve seen elsewhere with catastrophic consequences.

Aside from the ideological argument laws like these are a complete waste of police resources. Another excuse for the Gardai to avoid real danger and real crime when they calling to the house of someone who called his neighbor a bad word.

Sex change isnāt gender ideology. Back then it would have been gender identity disorder in DSM Iāve.
If one can change gender on a whim then why not race or species?

It is not uncommon for people to talk about their kids with friends, family, work colleagues despite your sneery tone here. Do you have kids yourself?
As I posted on here before there are even work based employee resource groups for carers and/or parents. There is a group of 15 parents (mostly female) in my work place. A wide range of topics are discussed from child development, to getting their children to eat vegetables, schooling etc. There are some louder voises than others who donāt want gender ideology foisted on their kids. Others will be a bit quieter but just nod along. By and large Iād say nearly all of them would be of same mindset. Confusion and social contagion would probably be 2 of main concerns. Its only 1 of a 100 different things that are discussed but its safe to say that no rightminded parent wants this.
