as for howlin, he only resigned from teaching in 2009, which means that he wouldve racked up 31 years service so in all likelihood he’d be entitled to around 3/4 of what enda was entitled to

because im a civil servant, all the same perks but no irritants like constituents, elections and having to answer for my actions

If I had the potential to save 700k over my working life would you say I was worth 700k now if I only had 200k of it saved?

You’d want to be starting a pension at 25 to get a figure like that

If you have rights to an asset worth 700k then yes.

You would want to be a mug not to start a pension as young as possible, a complete mug. My generation will definitely have a means tested state pension
