My Dad would often sing that at music sessions. A belter.

That’s my favourite song the past few years.

There’s a great live version with Donal Lunney

They might be a bit derivitive in hindsight (Editors), but no matter, some cracking songs on this album. From Monaghan I think.

1981 and Slow Dance are the hightlights

A lot of those Irish bands from 2000 onwards tend to blend into one as far as I’m concerned but I heard this on the radio last week and thought it decent.

Little Green Cars - The John Wayne

They had a bit of promise alright but ive not heard anything in a long time.

Prodigy - Voodoo people

They have split.

The band other than the lead singer have reformed with the female on lead vocals.

A real Fleet Foxes sound to that song.

Just because the main guy is called Liam mate doesn’t make them Irish.

Soz bro, wrong thread.

No hassle mate.

Saw them a couple of times, once in a tiny venue called Bourkes in Limerick, they were a brilliant band to be honest, that album was superb

Bourkes had a good streak of fine bands playing there at one stage.

Soda Blonde is the “new” band

Little Green Card had a few cracking songs

Outstanding. I am not a fan of the blues, but think live blues, like trad music, always comes across better (to me).
