Not for me, but do like the fact he is singing in his own accent. You couldn’t mistake him not being Irish.

Mentioned this on another thread recently, but this is a cracking cover. I’d have it right up there with the original. It’s funny how new generations keep rediscovering the same songs over and over. The old irish/folk songs won’t be everyone’s cup of tea, but by God they are resilient.

They’re playing in the Milk Market on 22/12. Got tickets for them last week.

Those lads are on a wage from the record company. Playing in Glastonbury or the Milk Market they get the same bobs. Hard to make sense of it.

Have seen them a few times, I think the first time was in Pharmacia in Limerick in 2019. They’ve been steadily building all this time, it’s great to see. A mighty sound bunch of lads to boot.

I just about remember this, my brothers used to rave about it, particularly in the Donal Dineen years.
Things were very different back then. No Disco was where you heard new alternative music - now it’s YouTube and Spotify.
