Yeah state should just pass off all responsibility to chumps like you for the suckers they send off to get maimed.
I donāt see how they pass off all responsibility. Like with homelessness there is government support; wages, programmes ect. If itās not enough, itās not enough and charities step in. People are aware of the limitation of government support but sign up and Iāll continue to support our lads.
Itās my own personal decision you fascist.
Iām a communist, comrade.
How very niche. You pretentious cunt.
13 gone but not forgotten
We got 18 and Mountbatten
Youāre missing the point. Itās not about peoples reasons for wearing them or not. People are free to wear them if they wish. Itās the forcing people to wear them be they Irish, Argentinean or Iraqi or numerous other nationalities thatās the problem. In other words, nationalities that have suffered most from the bloodthirsty, murderous apes that fought for the butcherās apron. Itās now about 5 weeks of the year where every cunt that appears on UK tv has to wear one or there is an outcry from the slow-witted amoeba that inhabit places like Newcastle, Hull and Leeds who gladly send their sons off to get killed and maimed fighting unjust wars in countries theyāve never heard off before.
Itās my opinion that the wearing of the Poppy is to remember the service people who died in the line of duty for the British Army. It happens around the time of anniversary of the the end of WW1. I get it that itās annoying when some television producer is pressurizing a presenter or a guest on a show to wear it - thatās not on. Same with EPL and SPL teams putting them on their shirts, thatās a joke. But Iām in agreement with those who choose to wear the Poppy as a remembrance for those who perished while at war.
I donāt agree with war, but it happens and did happen. For whatever reason the war is about, be it just or not they happen. Servicemen and women die because of war, I donāt see anything wrong with them being remembered.
Itās not a big deal folks, move on.

Why was nobody too fussed about remembering the in the 70s when there were actually people around who had fought in those wars? Nobody was sewing poppies into jerseys then. Why start in the 2000s?
Why commemorate WW1 and not those who died in the Boer War or the Crimean War? Or the Napoleonic Wars or the fucking Battle of Agincourt?
Why, because the answer is symbolism. The First World War is still seen by some as a just war and that those who died did do in the cause of small nations, in the same way that some poor misfortune will be packed off for the freedom of Iraq.
Last time I checked there wasnāt conscription in Britain. So that tells me that men and women join up of their free will. If you can prove to me that everyone who died in the last 5/10/20/50/100 years while at war with the British army was a) male and b) exclusively working class then fair enough.
So, come back to me when that proof like a good chap!
Dunno chief. Iām Irish so I donāt worry too much about what other nations do. If they want to wear a poppy to remember their war dead leave them off. If someone from France or Norway or Ireland or Spain wants to go on British TV and wear one too, leave them off. Itās their choice.
Thatās not all it is though. Where does the money go?
To the Chelsea Pensioners.
Thereās no point talking to the stupid cuntā¦
Dunno chief. Not British. Donāt give shit
I canāt argue with you there. Tasty enough all the same.
I donāt actually believe that anyone is forced. It is weak minded narcissistic media āpersonalitiesā who claim they are being bullied or forced. Itās all utter bullshit. If you choose to believe it, you probably take Barry Egan as Gospel.
its not actually, no one gives a fuck, wear one if you want, its only Oirish barstool types at home in spudland getting hot and bothered about it
Donna Traynor was forced. McClean got hung out to dry by his club when he opted out.
