So why do you keep starting them?

Wonā€™t be long before Britain reaches these levels of idiocy.

Wasnā€™t Killmallock a garrison town as well?

Not really. It was a large Irish town. With a few English and Desmondites in it ocassionally.

there was a bit of a media issue last week or so about how much the armed forces pay the NFL teams to have the half time recognition of a soldier or to do certain other army related things.

All the teams had camouflage coloured headsets last week too, sponsored by Bose, the sound providers to the armed forces.

Have you

"Sound"as in great

No way JosƩ.

It looked as if everyone on the sideline was required to wear camo gear as well. More like D-DAY than a sports game

Poppy wearers and unionists, @GeoffreyBoycott, @Tim_Riggins, adulterer ā€˜Emma Louiseā€™ @HBV and the Neo Nazi @ProjectX will all delight in this -

A former government minister under Thatcherā€™s government, Lord Nigel Lawson has said that the Republic of Ireland could ask to once again join the United Kingdom while speaking at a debate on the forthcoming referendum on whether or not the UK should remain in the European Union.

Lawson, father of celebrity cook Nigella Lawson and chairman of the Vote Leave campaign group, also said ā€œit would be greatā€ if the Irish free state realised it had ā€œmade a mistakeā€ in getting independence from Britain in 1922.

The 83-year-old statesman, who served as the Chancellor of the Exchequer during Margaret Thatcherā€™s tenure as the UKā€™s Prime Minister, made his off-the-cuff remarks while answering a question of what a British exit from the EU would mean for the border between the two distinct nations on the island of Ireland.

Replying, Lawson said that the United Kingdom has a ā€œspecial relationship with the Irish Republic, for obvious historical reasons, but also reasons of sentiment.ā€

Lawson then added: ā€œI would be very happy f the Republic of Ireland ā€“ I donā€™t think itā€™s going to happen ā€“ were to say we made a mistake in getting independence in 1922, and come back within the United Kingdom. That would be great.ā€

Iā€™d fully support reunification with the UK

Lapsed poster @RaymondCrotty is firmly in favour of Ireland returning to the Union if I recall correctly.

Makes a lot of sense. Weā€™re all from the British Isles and the north eastern corner of the island of Ireland is part of the UK.
