Iāve pointed out to you explicitly that you clear as day failed to understand what was asked and now are tying yourself up in knots when itās became apparent to you.

I know that you were saying lads who never got elected. This is why I included the quote
Lads who have been failing to get elected for decades in General and European elections and hanging around the Seanad like a bad smell?
The cunts that youāre looking for, long time DĆ”il election rejects, will likely be in the other link I sent you with the records for time spent in the Seanad.
I am interested to know who has had the most unsuccessful elections attempts, for the DƔil, in Ireland.

You can include half the Dail in that list.
The Seanad is basically a halfway house for up and comers and politicians who lose their seats but if you serve more than one term in the Seanad then you really have to question if you should run for general election again.
Thereās a major difference between someone who might be in the Seanad for a term after losing their seat or being elevated from a councillor position to the likes of Bacik who has spent nearly 20 years in the Seanad after being rejected by the electorate in every General and European election she ever contested.
Power also lost every election she ever contested despite the huge exposure and coverage she got.
These are specifically the type of people I am on about.
I canāt see Lisa Chambers every getting elected again as long as Calleary continues to run so is she going to be the next one who hangs around the Seanad like a bad smell.
Who are the other politicians consistently rejected at general and European elections who have served multiple terms in the Seanad?

Iām on the case to try and find out who has had the most unsuccessful attempts at getting elected to the DĆ”il. Itāll probably be some local nut bag who always runs for the sake of it though.
Including the Seanad will skew it towards FFG I reckon due to the idiotic rule of allowing the Taoiseach to nominate 11 people every term.
To be fair to Bacik she is a Law Professor at TCD . I think she held the Reid Professorship that was held by Mary Robinson and Mary McAleese . Now I wouldnāt vote for her in a fit but to suggest that she isnāt suitable for a parliament or entitled to go for election is comical .
She isnāt the type to be filling potholes . The Irish electorate have a funny relationship with socially awkward intellectuals .

I donāt really have issue with a local councillor running numerous times and failing. Theyāre still a councillor. A lot of parties will put elevate someone they have hopes from a councillor to a senator in order to elevate their standing, likewise a politician who loses their seat will sometimes be given a Senator role in order to keep their profile up or involved until the next election.
The real issue is that you should only ever have one term in the Seanad if you are contesting local and European elections. If you canāt get voted in by a general election or that after that term then you should really consider your future in politics.
Lads, yer arguing over career politicians. Its a lovely day. Relax.
Was Bacic elected to the Seanad or appointed?

She obviously thinks local politics are too much beneath her. Thatās generally where you build up a rapport with your constituents and thatās probably why she has failed every time.
Was Bacic elected to the Seanad or appointed?
The common person doesnāt vote in Seanad elections.
You havenāt answered the question.
Was Donnelly elected to the Seanad or appointed?
We had a chance to bin it and we said no

Was Donnelly elected to the Seanad or appointed?
Whatās Donnelly got to do with it?
The Seanad is not a General or European election so why are you trying to include it?
We had a chance to bin it and we said no
It should get tae fuck.
You could well be right there but that shouldnāt bar her from competing in any election she chooses to .
It should but we said no .
It shouldnāt but it explains why she is not elected.
Instead she hangs around the Seanad like a bad smell after being rejected by her constituents consistently.
He failed to get elected three times. By your logic he shouldnāt be allowed run any more. Was elected or appointed to the Seanad?
Bacik has been elected to the Seanad on a number of occasions. She is there on merit under the system in place.
rejected by her constituents consistently.
Youāre wrong there, sheās been elected to the Seanad by her constituents on a number of occasions.
Who is Donnelly?
Youāre all the place here?
Bacik has been consistently rejected by her constituents. The Seanad is a joke but then again you are some sort of entitled leach of state money so I wouldnāt expect you to have any understanding or empathy for the realities of the everyday man or woman.
