APOEL have played one game since McCarthy got sacked and Jack Byrne hasn’t played a game in months. Bit early to be writing him off but doubt he’ll be getting picked for Ireland while playing in Cyprus regardless

Andy ripped it up at Forest, Sunderland and Spurs to be fair. Jack is sunning himself on a Mediterranean Island on a balcony of his appartment with his Tallaght^ entourage watching a stream of a game his team are playing as he’s not in the squad.

^Byrne may or may not be from Tallaght.

He’s probably lacking a bit of sharpness. It’s been one game under the new manager, if that gets to 5 and he still hasn’t been in the squad then it’s a problem

Zero games under the new manager. He didn’t make the squad in a 3-0 win v’s Ermis Aradippou. Match tonight v AEK Larnaca who are 5th in the league and 10 points ahead of APOEL.

Yes, that’s a sample of 2 games mate. Obviously Dan McDonnell will probably be biased towards Jack Byrne but I’d take him at his word that Byrne and Garner aren’t being considered until they are back up to fitness
