Far greater recent production line of producing midfielders who can control a game than English football has produced. So the culture is much more towards tactics and technical ability in these countries.

English football is generally all about high tempo. Very few midfielders in the mould of Jorginho there.
If you contrast that to Italy, Holland and Spain anyway, most clubs will have that deep sitting link man who tries to control the game. Itās why the English national team donāt produce good midfielders, the philosophy is all about tempo, all about pressure.
Because of money, itās pretty simple. Players woudlnāt opt for Man City (no offence) if the same pay packet was on offer elsewhere.
