There’s not a lot of traveler people around Monaghan or Ulster generally and I think a lot of the reason is that people would just burn the cunts out of it.

Have you studied their language. There’s two versions I think, cant and Gammon. It suggests there’s at least two groups that separated maybe at different stages. After Cromwell makes sense but there might have been a much earlier group probably from Ulster.

Really disappointed by the attitude shown to our travelling community on here. We can’t be judging an entire section of our society by the actions of those involved in the isolated incidents described above.

The state needs to do more to help these people. Free education, free healthcare, free housing and extra general grants would be a good start.
