He did a feature on “The Road to Croker” with Des Cahill. “bart” was the main victim. I think the same guy posts on Reservoir Dubs now.
Bart has been posting there for a while, one of the few lads who called it as it was over there in his day.
Ask him to come over here, mate. Be nice to have a counter weight to scumpot’s horse shit.

I think you will agree with Donn O’Sullivan’s words in this weeks Limerick Post.

MY piece last week on what unique moments the hurling championship can create seems almost prophetic now. The occasion that unfolded last Sunday 9 afternoon in the Gaelic Grounds was special. Maybe last weekend’s win is the reason we give the GAA such a hard time. The World deserves to see that kind of sporting spectacle. There is no better advert for Ireland and all things Irish than a hurling match. The 19,000 plus crowd who braved the heat deserved the affair they were served up.
Spare a massive thought too for the players. What an effort that was from both sides. 40 amateur players giving it their all for the love of the game that they play.
On a final note, last weekend was a vindication for John Allen. The Cork, All Ireland winning coach, has been the subject of huge ridicule from Limerick ‘so called’ supporters. Allen knows what is need to win on the biggest stage. The doubters have now well and truly been silenced. It is easy for media and fans to comment on the Limerick team, but only the men in charge of them know what is really going on. Let’s keep the hype to a minimum now and make sure Limerick are underdogs for the final too.
Donn O’Sullivan.

what?
Very Impressed by John Allen last Sunday, proved a lot of doubters wrong… long way to go still but this team has serious potential seeing as Hannon and Mulcahy were quiet by there standards and we started with a defensive half forward line, the future is bright and I sincerely hope this group of lads fufill there potential and get us a munster title after 17 years of disappointment, it seems finally we have the right man in charge, Luimneach a fukn abu!!!

Limerick’s win over Tipperary last Sunday means that manager John Allen has a chance to add a third Munster SHC title to his coaching CV, but amazingly the members of the last side he led to provincial glory are still waiting to be presented with their medals.
By Denis Hurley
Conor Cusack, a member of the 2006 Cork hurling team, wrote on Twitter earlier this week that the players are waiting for that year’s medals. Contact with various panellists has confirmed, despite Allen’s efforts on behalf of the panel to get the medals presented in the interim, that they still don’t have them.
“What normally happens is that the Munster Council get the medals made,” said Munster Council PRO Ed Donnelly, “24 or 26 or whatever and then more if the county requests them, and they are then passed on.
“It is up to the county then to organise a presentation and while someone from the Council would usually be present on the night to present them, everything would have been arranged by the county.”
Cork have not won a Munster senior title since and Conor Cusack, Anthony Nash, Ciarán McGann, Cathal Naughton, Pa Cronin and Shane O’Neill were the only players without having previously won Munster medals. While the fact the players were not given medals remains a mystery, moves are being made to rectify the situation.
“This only came to my attention on Sunday night, when I saw a tweet which said that players were waiting on their medals,” said Cork PRO Tracey Kennedy.
“The matter is now being looked into, and it will be discussed at the next meeting of the county board executive, next Tuesday night.”

That tells you all you need to know
They won’t win one in 2013 either
Huh?
Championship is what counts, and if he beats that lot we will love him. But his decision making is fucking baffling, or indeed his lack of it during games.
I’m deeply upset after losing that tonight and It’s fair to say management contributed a fair amount to the loss.
Is he a complete bluffer or what.
Tan, tell us more about his time in cork? he was only there to facilitate the players and Donal Og ran the show right? Should we be going after Donal?
