They’re the second best. Caught them live once actually. They put on a show.

I’d pick Fables of the Reconstruction myself but I’d freely acknowledge that that’s a time and place thing on my part.

In order as well! And no mention of anything post Reveal.

What’s the CD between Up and Reveal? Sorry I see now - The Great Beyond single.

Sticking a cover of Superman on to the end of it though wasn’t cool.

Stipe also thought so, refused to sing lead vocals on it.

In fairness you “got” A-Ha

I would prefer them to be honest.

In fairness when I think about it, I got to some run of gigs by bands in their prime from 84-86, Rem, the Smiths, the Pogues, u2, Elvis Costello and every Irish performer that ever was at Self Aid.

Yeah, I kind of lost interest after Reveal. Was too busy digging into stuff that seemed more new and interesting

Beset with a lot of tension recording in the UK winter away from Dixon and Easter.

Bill Berry called it ‘garbage’.

I think its brilliant. Again hard to pick a dud track with many outstanding moments.
