J1 - Summer in the Sun

He reckoned that objects like tables and chairs didn’t really exist the same for everyone - we all perceived them differently… If someone was bad enough there’s probably a quip in there about the balcony, the ground perception etc. etc.

Another quote from the Fox news site:

Judgment2015 6 minutes ago

Liberals have to learn the hard way that there is a Holy God.

Did he ever mention anything about pissing in gunpowder?

The builders should really be up shit creek for this.

Looking at the picture on Sky News it is hard to see how the builder will avoid any charges. There doesn’t look to be any proper support for be balcony. Surely there should have been J1’s supporting either end of the balcony.

One things for sure it wasn’t blacks that built it.

Some less than complimentary reviews of the place here:

After visiting my friend’s place here and reading all the horror stories about it on other apartment review sites, I’m convinced Library Gardens (and Stadium Place down the street) exist to serve one market: Parents of Berkeley undergrads who are horrified by the dorms and old apartments and will pay any price to put their kids up somewhere nice.

Seriously. That’s the market. Apparently enough of these parents exist to fill these buildings. I guess like the saying says, there’s one born every minute.

Too bad this company preys on them by creating a building that looks nice and new after that first visit, but suffers from poor construction, terrible maintenance, security problems and bad management. Great for Library Gardens, not so great for the Berkeley student population.

Someday better student housing (on par with other college towns) will get built here. Someday…

That place sounds as bad as Priory Hall.

This is a new apartment complex that was shoddily constructed. It was apparently constructed in a quarter (3 months) and it seems like it. Everything is new, but everything is made from particle board and cheap materials. Handles have fallen off, doors have fallen off hinges.
