I think that second concession was a by product of the system. Bitton with the ball in the right centre back position, Ralston comes infield into centre midfield in front of him (inverts or whatever the fucking term is), Bitton kinda dribbles diagonally forward, moving more to the left, tries to slip a ball forward between the lines, some lad cuts it out and the entire right hand side of our defence is therefore absent.
But a lot to like about the display too so I won’t dwell on it. The understanding and combinations are getting slicker and the players collectively looked fitter and sharper. I thought the work rate and attitude was good too. Nice to see a spread of scorers and some bhoys getting off the mark for the season.

Good performance and a good result.
Some impressive performances. Furuhashi looked very sharp. Abada was very threatening. Impressive number of chances to create. And that was well deserved.
Still want to see more from Turnbull. McGregor was really good and Soro did well beside him. Our full backs still look out of their depth (though Taylor did ok). Bitton will never convince at centre back but he does constribute more in general play.
Harston is a clown. He’s furious for some reason.

Still need a right back, left back, centre back, another attacking midfielder and maybe a striker.
I’d give Starfelt the benefit of saying the guy ran off Ralston and then around Bitton and he has to assume one of them will track him. Plus he’s the only one to actually move. It’s really poor collectively anyway and particularly from Ralston and Bitton.
That’s on the centre halves for me there. Both of them asleep as the forward runs in behind them from a fairly innocuous ball
