We will grow as a forum or just excommunicate the revolters.

Barce 59.45m
Madrid 60m
Chelsea90m

I’m not talking about funds. Fulham spent more than Barcelona this summer. If Real Madrid and Barcelona go head to head with EPL for top players, they will go to one of the Spanish sides. City are going to miss out on that Ajax lad to Barca right now. Funds wise the top EPL clubs can match Barca and Real but they will never be able to offer the same attraction. Coutinho, Suarez, Courtois, Robben, Alonso, Henry, Ronaldo, Modric, Bale, Fabregas etc - if the big two in Spain really want a player they will get them.

Paying tax on wages is a major hindrance.

If Barca and Real badly want a player then 9nly really PSG can rival them right now.

PSG who are financed by an oil rich country are the only ones who can compete with Barce and PSG but Chelsea who in the mid 2000s were also financed by an oil rich country couldn’t?

No they couldn’t. Chelsea never really went head to head for the best in the world, they paid over the odds for a couple of strikers like Shevchenko and Torres who were in decline but they had no real competition for either of these players.

@Cicero_Dandi aguro from city was aproached on nurmous times from the top 2 in spain…

He’s still at city

Depressed hearing that. Ten years younger than me and arguably already a more successful player

No he wasn’t.

Oh yes he was

Prove it.

Gas cunts

No you prove it

The EPL barstoolers getting very offended at their lower place in the pecking order.

Seeing as none of the rest of ye ever have the class to pay respects on my consistent and routine victories in debates I will call this.

Checkmate.

Not sure of that, it seems that @Faldo was speaking about his time with City,
I don’t know either way, I’d be surprised if there was never any interest in him from the big two
