He loved punting & national hunt racing. Besotted with “the game“ & became very attached to Danoli. I think Danoli paved the way for Istabraq myself. He’d blag his way into the parade ring after Danoli’s successes, I’d see his head in the background whooping & hollering after races in Leopardstown etc. Think he became friendly with the trainer (can’t remember trainer’s name but think he was based in Carlow) over time & would take spins up to watch Danoli on the gallops & bring him nuts & pillows & other racehorse appropriate treats.

Marianna was let down by an Italian family a month earlier,
Within a week Sean was telling his missus all about her ,etc etc
Sean’s wife Donna and him flew to Romania 6 weeks later ,
Donna fell in love with Marianna
Director owed our charity and we called in the favour,
As both Irish part were passed by the social workers back in Ireland ,
That little girl was Derry bound
She’s graduated out of Queens, married a Derry man
And is a mama of 2
Adoption should be made easier-
My mother fostered fir 35 years and adopted 2 little boys .
Personally if I hadn’t children of my own I’d 100 of gave fostered/ adopted
