The fact that the clubs are now collectively in profit barely warranted mention in the media so thereâs certainly an anti-John Delaney agenda at play. Obviously Horsebox and SandymountRed are taking the piss and acknowledge his vast achievements but some journalists are despicable individuals.
The players have let us down. We have had more world-class administrators than players, and the greatest of all is Mr Delaney.
You are correct about the administrators but delaney isnt fit to lace frank davisâ boots
mate - i dont offer an opinion on Graham Kelly, please dont offer one on Mr Delaney
Sorry, I dont accept requests from rebrands.

What more can he do?[/quote]
Yes indeed. A pitch rented from the Munster rugby branch and a council pitch in the arsehole of Tallagth are indicative of the strength of domestic soccer.
Go away and have a lie down ye senile oul prick.
I canât speak for other Districts but the facilities available to soccer clubs in Clare are vastly improved from what they were back over a decade ago before Mr Delaney was head of the FAI.
Thatâs like saying broadband speed is quicker in Southern Yemen now than it was 10 years ago ffs. Itâs fucking irrelevant, nobody gives a fuck.
The standard of pitches and associated clubhouses in Fingal is spectacular. Malahideâs ground is particularly impressive.
Why would a stadium being located in Tallaght attract criticism? Soccer just isnât rugby enough for some folk evidently.
But it isnât irrelevant. The standard of facilities for clubs has improved enormously under his tenure. Most of these developments have been driven by the clubs with the support of the FAI. Grassroots football in Ireland is in very good health, this is shown in the playing numbers from underage, junior league and even social and astro leagues
I know youâre living in Worcestershire or somewhere like that so you can be forgiven for being so ignorant. But the FAI are bleeding clubs dry to pay off their obscene debt and Delaneyâs own salary. Domestic soccer is dying on itâs knees and the only clubs that are prospering are doing so despite of Delaney and not because of him. Limerick City are the classic example of this.
The sooner this mop headed chancer and his cabal are removed the better.

The League of Ireland is a complete different area from junior level and district football you dope. The league of Ireland is irrelevant when talking about the playing number at grassroots level and the facilities available to junior and underage clubs in the district leagues. I never mentioned the League Of Ireland in my post because I wasnât referring to it, please try and keep up
People in this country will play soccer regardless of Delaney running the FAI or not. The man is running the game into the ground and as long as heâs throwing his tie to twats like you he will he will continue to draw a disgusting salary. Try and look at the bigger picture. Soccer in Ireland is a total shambles.
John Delaney has made Irish football self-sustainable.
SR is taking the trash to the bin here.
Clare DSL is going from strength to Strength pal. some wonderful new top quality pitches around the county -
Jeez Red. I thought youd be in better form after leaving pats last night unbeaten and without a man sent off for the first time this season. Who cares if its because the match was called off.
No, he didnât. And itâs not.
As a former supporter of John Delaney, Iâve come to the realisation that buying me a bag of cans for a train journey and getting two free pints in a bar in Estonia can only fob me off for so long.
He clearly wants Trap out but i) hasnât the balls to do it and ii) canât anyway because of the perilous financial situation the FAI find themselves in.
Iâm with Sandymount Red here.
