The doctor has a duty of care to his patient or ex patient.

Telling Sexton not to play a week after getting yet another brain injury - concussion - seems perfectly reasonable.

As a former patient of his there are two possibilities

1. He has breached doctor patient confidentiality in a very public manner for God knows what reason

2. He is lying at worse and speculating at best about the health of a former patient in public…

Absolutely bizarre behaviour from a doctor. Whether he is right or wrong is a completely different point and IMO no way should Sexton play this weekend… He is 36 and needs to be managed with kid gloves now.

No idea. He got a spate of heavy knocks a few years back but every time he gets any kind of a clatter fellas are saying he is concussed without any clue if he is or not.

Anyone would have to question Jonny’s concussion record. It should not be his former doctor with whom he has patient confidentially though. Fairly straightforward I’d have thought.
