Would patient confidentiality extend to the all the bangs heâs seen him get on TV? Genuine question.
Of course it would. Nobody watching TV knows whether he is concussed or not. You can assume but you donât know.
Not questioning that at all. I just donât think he should be picked anymore for the reasons stated
Thereâs a contradiction there, but I get your point.
Anyways, fair play to the doctor for looking out for Johnnyâs health.
Yeah thatâs what he was doing alright.
Some serious sweep sweeping going on here. He may need someone to come in and give him a dig out soon.
Yeah. Iâm saying thatâs not he he sees it. He thinks he can achieve more and he doesnât think he is holding anyone back because the thought that anyone else is as good as or could overtake him is a long way from his mind.
Yeah. And why would he give a shit if heâs holding anyone back. He shouldnât and doesnât⌠Andy Farrell should though
I wouldnât think France will be overly concerned with whatever 15 players Ireland put out on Sunday.
This is true. It wasnât so long ago lads were making fun of French rugby. Could be 50 points this weekend.
Not a Gallic shrug will be given.
The French doctor who spoke is some sort of neurosurgeon and concussion expert, an obvious lad to be interviewed when talking about concussion in rugby. Is there really much chance he was put up to this by French Rugby or that he cares all that greatly about this weekends result?
Sexton is made of glass⌠Heâs injured every other game it seems. What a fanny.
Itâs hilarious to hear lads on here discuss sextons health as if they care.
The same lads think itâs hilarious to bump this thread when heâs a knee injury.
Lads donât seem to care about the health of the players they claim to support.
Sexton was his patient. What was he doing talking about it in the radio? If he was really worried about his health why wouldnât he pick up the phone to him?
Itâs 6 years since he last saw Sexton, half a rugby career ago. I think he is more worried about players in the sport in general, Sexton getting another hit on Sunday meant he came up in conversation. Itâs odd that people are getting so worked up about this.
Thatâs fine if you donât think a doctor publically opining on his former patients health as part of a radio slot is an issue. I didnât realise there was a cut off point when it was acceptable to breach the confidentiality
Those snakey French bastards did a hatchet job on ROG before a key world cup match. You couldnât trust em
He canât be breaching confidentiality if heâs only guessing about the concussions that he thinks he has seen on the telly or read about in the newspapers in the years since he was Sextonâs doctor though.
Fair enough he shouldnât be speculating alright, given any official number seems to be way off that total.
