He’s way ahead of Larkin too.
This Cunt
I’m probably going to contradict myself on these 6 KK forwards in my lifetime, think I put it on another thread, but in no particular order, I’d have the below on my all-time KK forward line.
DJ, TJ, Hogan, Keher, Fast Eddie, The King
Power was significantly better than Hogan, he is one of the most underrated players of all time
Says a lot about what you think you know about hurling
Hogan is/was better than Power.
In your delusional head maybe
I’m not old enough to remember Keher and Hogan probably gets in the top 6 KK forwards of my lifetime but Larkin would absolutely have to be there. A phenomenal hurler, the prototype of the modern half-forward who had it all.
I’ve said Eddie Brennan but you could have Larkin in there just as easy.
Therein lies the problem with your opinion I’m afraid.
Stop the wumming
A good man to cycle down a hill for you.
With the wind at his back.
Hogan’s best year probably came at midfield? A very talented player and fair play to him for the lengthy career, despite the injuries, but you’d have to say that they did hinder him and definitely couldn’t be said to have been as consistent as TJ.
If I were to rate my top 6 forwards that I named it would be:
- DJ
- TJ
- Keher
- Shefflin
- Hogan
- Fast Eddie/Larkin
Was depressing how much influence on the play Richie had when he came on for 10 mins in extra time v Cork in last year’s semi-final. Should have been on a lot lot sooner. Although we might have won then, and I’m not sure if that’s what I would have wanted in hindsight either…
His hurling brain was miles ahead of all those other Kilkenny forwards.
Could have had 4 or 5 points in 10 minutes if he was any way fit.
I’d have Richie Hogan in my KK team.
We taught him everything he knows, sure.
Fine handballer too…
Yea, from U16 up after ye robbed him*.
*Thought you were Callan?
