Mikey Comerford kept on as well.
The Michael Fennelly story was a red herring so.
Not heard of that one.
It would have made sense having Fennelly though, killing two birds with one stone.
Needs to give up that aul nonsense and come away home
What happened there? Sounds like a cracking game.
Are shamrocks/ballyhale in bother now?
They play Glenmore in the first round
You saying that was only league?
League kind of merges with championship I think. Ballyhale came from a relegation semi-final to win the All-Ireland in 2019/20. Can afford to lose in group and still have a chance in a knockout game.
The league element of Championship.
League Final- Tullaroan v Bennettsbridge
Shield Final- Clara v Dicksboro
All 4 of these get Championship first round byes.
Championship Round 1-
Shamrocks v Glenmore
O’Loughlin Gaels v Mullinavat
Relegation Semi-Finals/Championship Round 1-
James Stephens v Lisdowney
Erins Own v Graigue Ballycallan
Quick Q… How many senior teams in the championship?
12, that’s all of them.
2 groups of 6 in league part. Your league position gets you a bye if you do well or into the relegation dogfight if you don’t. So they all matter.
You’d think Lisdowney are heading south, looking at that.TTown heading north,id suggest.
That brings back memories of games between these 2 on Sunday evenings before massive crowds in Mullinavat in the late 80s and early 90s.
Tullaroan were very impressive bar a shaky start and some wasteful shooting when they were on top in the second half would have seen them pass the 30 point mark at their ease.
Shamrocks to be fair to them were dogged and no alarms bells will be ringing at having to play a first round championship game. They had a man sent off when Tullaroan were well on top and reeled that back to a point in the subsequent 10 minutes or so.
Gearoid Dunne is one to watch, a bit raw but might be a prospect.
Unreal, the place would be thronged.
Ballyhale will beat Glenmore with their caps.
