Kilkenny GAA thread

In all likelihood yes but you never know with Glenmore, they have an innate confidence and believe they can beat anyone on their day. A lot of teams are bet before they take the field against the Shamrocks, Glenmore won’t be.

They’ll be bet after though

Bit before my time but the Gowran/Glenmore games in the mid nineties probably brought some thing similar - The Streaker in Ballyhale!!!

What a night that was😆, iconic as they say around here.

Like the cut of him alright.

I think the team being relegated will come from Comer/GBC.

I wouldnt see either of them losing to Lisdowney if push comes to the shove.

Too much tradition and pride there,I think.Maybe im wrong.

Serious backroom, have they any hurlers?

They were collossal under achievers last time he was directly involved with them.

Did big Christy crack the streaker across the arse with his hurl, or was that stitched on to the story over the years?

No thats all true and then I think Paul Phelan who was stewarding decked him.

The inference is that he answered some call to get involved.

I’d say myself that he’s been annoying every manager in the village since he became untouchable.

I’d say the current guy is delighted to be undermined by him.

Seamus Dwyer is Cha’s older brother, he’d be well gotten.

Didn’t he fall out with the village for a while when the second son couldn’t make the team.

The village are in relegation, they won’t go down but it’s almost impossible to repeat ballyhales heroics and win it from there.

Bennettsbridge best placed to stop ballyhale currently but they are notoriously inconsistent.

He was a selector with Tyrell’s brother around 2016 and when they took off Diarmuid with 10 minutes to go, Cody walked down to the corner flag and watched the remainder of the game from there.

He did a great piece with Shane Saint before the 2019 County Final. The passion he spoke with about how James Stephens could find a way to beat Ballyhale was unreal. He’s a great clubman.

My cousins from down there speak highly enough of him.

God forbid they speak highly of him. Highly enough will do

James Stephens aren’t bad. Close enough to Ballyhale the last 2 years

For some reason I always had him down as a Labour Party supporter.

Last years county finalists O Loughlin Gaels out after a one point defeat to Mullinavat.

Freshford v Fenians in relegation from intermediate. That was a semi final last year, dog eat dog at that grade.

How Johnstown are still up there I’ll never know
