I wouldn’t bet on freshford either, Johnstown famously beat them in a senior relegation game in similar circumstances about 10 years ago.

The Fenians have a relegation record almost like no other. It’s going to be a tense one in the coming weeks.
I would have thought Freshford can beat the Fenians, but everybody is cagey of them when it comes to a relegation final. The auld lads in Freshford (or the ones I know) think the current crop have no stomach, heart or backbone. Very harsh, they are.

Auld lads such as those you speak of are generally astute fuckers who’ve probably broken a few fingers (not their own) here and there and yearn for a return to what we term “manly stuff”.
These lads are most likely to be suspicious of alcohol bans, dieticians, nutritionists and purveyors of protien shakes.

They have lost a good few down through the years which is prob their biggest problem.
I think the intermediate championship is better served with them in it.
Tullaroan beat the bridge well in the league final. They are going well and in Gaeroid Dunne they have a player to watch.
The other relegation semi finals for Senior are on tomorrow. GBC v Comer and Lisdowney v James Stephens. First one impossible to call, the village should come through the other side.
