Kilkenny Gaelic Football 2010 Thread

I donā€™t have one, I recognise the difficulty you have understanding these arguments* and I asked him to make it easier for you.

*When I said ā€˜dunceā€™ I meant you.

Weā€™ve more handball and Hurling All Ireland titles than any other County in Ireland, our record in Gealic football isnt as remarkable mainly because its not a priority of our sporting public,i cant see this changing soon either,Tipperary and a lot of other Counties need to get thier handball act together, they risk fucking up this association, its not good eneogh.

This sort of facetious argument typifies the attitude of the cheat. Shameful that children are brought up with this mentality.

You really are an utter utter knob.

But anyway, donā€™t let dunces like me get in the way of your own high feelings of self importance

Stop wading into arguments, missing the point, and complaining about the argument and the people involved.

Your incessant moaning is tiresome, and would be embarrassing to you if you knew any better.

The GAA sport of handball is being neglected in many Counties, here in Kilkenny its nurtured and widely played in modern purpose built facitities around the County,as a result our handballers are high achieving at all levels, theres no reason this effort cant be replicated in other Counties with a view to improving this brilliant GAA sport, the lack of effort to promote the minority Gaa sport of handball in many Counties is a far more serious issue than Kilkennys disinterest in Gaelic Football and should be addressed by the GAA heirarchy as a matter of urgency

Iā€™d post up the image of the pot kettle scenario here but I fear it may not contain enough big words for you

Many counties being the key point, thanks for bringing that up. Deviation from the norm should indeed be the standard, of which Kilkennyā€™s in the game of gaelic football is criminal. As youā€™ve said yourself thereā€™s no justification for what the board are doing and if fines are whatā€™s needed to turn it around then so be it.

True GAA counties like Laois, Carlow, Offaly, Tipperary, and Wexford should not have to put up with this rubbish right next door to them. The neighbourhood has standards and Kilkenny donā€™t live up to them.

And youā€™d probably find a way to fuck it up. Best not to take the risk.

Hes badly rattled by my highlighting of Tipperarys shameful non effort in the sport of handball and has collected his coat and left, hes on his way home as we speak.

Edit,no hes back,i havent read his defence of Tipps disgraceful record in handball yet,it better be good.

Is he not just rehashing a story thatā€™s been overdone so many times. Whatā€™s new or original about this piece which makes it a decent effort.

Iā€™m surprised Mac was drawn in by WTB, whoā€™s turned from an interesting, intelligent poster to a predictable wind up at this stage.

With regard to Kilkenny football, those guys are the best 15 players available who want to play football for the county. The rest simply couldnā€™t give a fuck about a 2nd rate game. Are we going to force people to play now?

What kind of shite are you spouting lad? We crave half of the success that Kilkenny have had and if a few people get hurt along the way then so be it. You dont get success without pissing people off along the way.

Witty

A beaten docket Link, a beaten docket

Iā€™m bored Fran and always like a bit of an internet argument with someone who for some reason has a high opinion of themselves.

Until such time as all GAA Counties get thier handball and rounders houses in order Kilkenny cant be held to account for any percieved lack of effort to promote Gaelic Football, all those Counties yer mentioning there would be far better off concentrating on hurling and leave the football to the Counties that are actually able to play it,in these days of straightened economic conditions Co. Boards need to correctly focus thier resources, wasting money on promoting football to the detriment of your number one sport of hurling is a mistake every time, thankfully that isnt happening here in Kilkenny.

That only works if you have scored some points yourself and the opponent isnā€™t clearly winning the argument. You havenā€™t and I am.

Youā€™re making this worse for yourself. Return to the argument and stop taking the easy way out.

Yeah, thatā€™s whatā€™s happened

The internet will do that to some people

True enough. Although to be fair, after 8 thousand odd posts, itā€™s the first time heā€™s really expressed an opinion on anything so that should be applauded to some extent I suppose.

Iā€™m concerned about this ever more common approach to discussion that involves:

A - Claiming youā€™ve won when personal victory should have nothing to do with it, and,
B - calling the other person a snob because they insist on responding with rational arguments.

Mac has never been involved in any argument that involved two or more paragraphs so itā€™s unfair to pick him out, but the sickness has spread beyond simpletons like him. Itā€™s an early warning sign for the demise of any forum.

Mac in danger of being shown up by the student here. Needs to focus
