Looks like a sweep sweep job as i have heard nothing in 6 months. Saying thatā¦ allegedly it was revenue that did audits of a few county boards and thats when these issues came to light so i canāt see it going away till they get their dues.
Even when weāre after beating Galway, the lovely Galway girls always treat us nice
Galway are enigma they simply donāt have the players and are doing well to be getting to all Ireland finals regularly. Their backs are average, midfield is Decent and have an OK set of forwards. Galway are possibly the worst analysed team in the gaa.

Is this football, hurling, rugby, soccerballing or all four?
How do lads feel the footballers will go tomorrow? Thereās no doubt Galway left it behind them last week having been 2 points up with only a few mins left. It was disappointing not to see them go for the jugular once they had overhauled the Rossies and got their noses in front. I still think they are the better of the two teams, neither team really impressed much last week but I thought Galway showed a little bit more than Roscommon.
Both teams have been indicted for committing horrendous crimes to football in last weeks drawn game. Conditions in Pearse Stadium were absolutely horrible however so hopefully thereāll be a bit of sunshine and drier sod in Castlebar tomorrow - it would definitely improve the quality of football.
Hoping for bigger games out of Shane Walsh and even The Baysht this week. Brannigan was quiet too after an impressive game against Mayo. I thought that Walsh made some unnecessary substitutions and it disrupted Galways rhythm as they were getting on top. Adrian Varley kicked a good score in fairness to him but I donāt know what Walshās thinking was in sending the two Sweeneys on - he just seems a bit too keen have his own club men involved - I donāt think either of them are up to it to be honest.
Anyway, expecting Galway to finish the job this week - Galway by 3
This cunt of a place should be used for affordable housing.
Itās a pity because itās a lovely setting in Salthill, with a few decent boozers around and a couple of nice spots to go for bite to eat after the match. The Stadium itself is grand but the wind does play fuck there a lot of the time, especially when it rains as well.
Thereās an awful lot of moaning about the traffic in and out of the place on match day but how often is there a crowd big enough to cause serious delays, once, twice a year maybe? The Hurlers donāt play any Championship games there so itās really only Connacht Championship matches that draw a large crowd. Iāve been to plenty of the qualifier matches there involving the footballers over the years and thereās been fuck all delay worth talking about.
Roscommon canāt be that bad again but Walsh, Sice and the aforementioned baysht did absolutely nothing, if two of them perform we have a great chance. The worry as you correctly pointed out is walshs insistence on playing Patrick Sweeney. Itās unfair to say heās no relation of an inter county player, as his brother is ok, but heās hopeless. Bad sign to see him consistently come on.
Sweeneys were our 2 best performers last season imo. Their both coming back from rough injuries and wouldnāt be match fit but I wouldnāt be giving up on either of them yet
Cathal sweeney is a decent defender, i wouldnāt have him in ahead of the other two though, Iāll have to disagree entirely with you on patrick.
The sweeneys arenāt good enough along with a few more tbf.
Walsh should be left on the edge of the square.
K Walsh played 2 small lads in the fullforward line in the first half and drove long balls into them had 3 in there and wouldnāt let it in!
K Walsh did bring on them two cunts just because they were club men and he thought the game was won.
I was chatting to Sean o d and Mike donellan during the week and they didnāt have anything good to say about k Walsh and his set up!
Still think Galway have too much for the rossies.galway by5
He is indeedā¦k Walsh has ruined himā¦he played most of last season inj and hes not doing anything that can makes him the effective player that he can be.in saying that Iām expecting a big game from him tomorrow
Kevin Walsh is the mother of all evils by the sounds of it. Shane Walsh on the other hand is just bang out of form. Lets hope they both sort their shit out tomorrow
I dont think that heās out of firm itās just the way k Walsh has him playā¦heās lost on the pitchā¦
In fairness to Kevin Walsh, he now has Galway playing the type of football where they might win a game against the higher tier teams. In the modern game, its not just that everyone has to be a defender and an attacker, but the teams with the ability to transition quickly and decisively have an advantage. Just playing a blanket defense and then passing the ball sideways for five minutes will win nothing, thereās too many teams at that now, you have to be able to break at pace and get into a scoring position quickly. The conditions didnāt help the last day, but I expect a good game tomorrow and agree with you Shane Walsh to play a blinder. I donāt agree with him going into FF, he is the best ball carrier we have, and I believe is utilized best running at defenses and laying the ball off or shooting from distance. I think we are one or two good forwards short of being a top side.
Ah go on outta that - Heās been around now for the last 3/4 years and he has only shown us a few flashes of what he can do. He wasnāt exactly tearing teams apart before Kevin Walsh came along either. You canāt blame Kevin Walsh for him fucking up the 2 on 1 situation Galway had toward the end last week, nor him haring off down the wing and attempting a ridiculous shot into a swirling wind.
Of that under 21 team that won the All Ireland In 2013, I always thought Ian Burke of Corofin was the classiest, most clinical of them allā¦Pity he fucked off to America. Shane Walsh has been hailed as the messiah by some in Galway but he has a hell of a lot to do to before he earns that title. The best players donāt get lost on the pitch - they find a way to influence the game and itās utter bullshit to say Kevin Walsh has āruined himā. I for one havenāt been fully convinced by what Iāve seen of Walsh so farā¦Having said that I hope Iām proved wrong and he goes on to be a great for Galway, tomorrow would be a good place to start.
In fairness it was Tomas Flynn who fucked away that chance by not kicking the ball over the bar, which he is well capable of doing. The pass to Walsh was the wrong option. We need big games from Flynn and Conroy tomorrow.
