Salthill are getting more and more lads into county panels. A move from skc to rhn, or vice versa could get a lad kilt shtone dead, especially with the recent attempts at plantation by skc
He lived in Knocknacarra and had huge hassle moving to Mellows either the year before he won the u-21 AI or immediately after. Still bad blood over it.

This development squad seems to have a good few lads on it that were u17 in 2020 and have yet to face Limerick in the 2020 Minor All Ireland Semi Final… a bit mad.
Is it a fancy name for an u20 panel, or are there lads on it now overage for U20?
He is currently the best young hurler in Galway imo… He will make it at the top level
Simon Thomas went from ballygar to Castlegar. I think his brother Greg is going there this year, a serious young hurler
Lundy started out with a city club but I think the whole family moved to Corofin when he was a teenager.

I had heard that the move didn’t work out too well for him, some resentment from his new teammates that he was taking the place of other lads despite not being much of an upgrade and he was struggling in cornerback. Interesting that you say another brother is going in now as well. Ballygar wouldnt have as much going for them as S-K or even S-M-M though.
The move was all about the younger brother as far as I am aware… Caused a bit of hassle in ballygar. This guy is ment to be the real deal… Ya the other brother was very over rated imo

I was very near where this was taken. Joe with a ludicrous touch in a game Galway didn’t give a shite about and ultimately drew.
Found the locals in Carlow fierce sound and Dr Cullen Park has a nice feel to it.

My first time seeing that. The atmosphere looked electric. Delighted Joe put a wee show on for them. What hurling might be if they allowed it to be

There was a good atmosphere at it. I was late for the game so I ended up sitting beside the Carlow backroom team. You could see what the draw meant to them, I certainly wasn’t begrudging them.
The division 1b structure had its merits.

Carlow were class in Salthill. They bullied Galway and held their own for an unreal amount of time.
