King Henry of Galway (Part 1) šŸ‘‘

Ye were the better team throughout and well deserved winners. Fabulous attitude in that team. Well done and I hope ye go on to further success.

Hope youā€™re right Faldo. Iā€™m still fierce rattled after yesterday.

Great to see the Rossie 700k bus in the background. A lovely jacuzzi too.

Some nice scores from the Rossies.

Youā€™d know well Walsh is injured. A few balls into him he wasnā€™t able for.

The two Kellyā€™s and Molloy are going well. Hopefully Comer gets a bit more space second half.

Is Silke a Galway name? I dont think Iā€™ve ever heard it anywhere else

They really should ban the fisted point and the handpass goal.

Galway by far the better team. Ahead by 3 points entering the final stages. All the recipe for a late suckered puch of a goal

Didnā€™t realise Roscommon had the keystone cops defending for them

It would be alright. A few Silkes in the ehast of the county. Sean Silke who hurled for Galway under Cyril was from Meelick. The football Silkes are predominantly Corofin.

I wish to withdraw my comment and apologise for my insolence. Hopefully weā€™ll keep it kicked out to the TicTok dancing cunts.

Got over the lineā€¦ Never looked like losing tbhā€¦ Few lads playing with nigglesā€¦ Our bench isnā€™t very strongā€¦ Big ask against mayo

The bench would be a lot stronger only for all the players who have made themselves unavailable. Burke, Varley, M Daly, Steede, etc. Probably missing one or two more.

Anyway a decent win. The Hyde in a deluge is a pox of a place to come out of. Think Walsh has 3 weeks to sort out his hamstring. Touch and go Iā€™d say.

I thought it was very encouraging, playing in Hyde in them conditions is a good test of character. The Kellys are very modern footballers, endless running and can play anywhere. But then more traditional lads like Tierney and Finnerty in there as well.
Tierney had that huge knee bandage last year which was worrying but seems to be clear of it now and a lad to get excited by. He also continues the Galway tradition of producing an unusually high number of left footed forwards.

Be hard to imagine John Daly starting against Mayo if he wasnā€™t fit enough to bench today. But McHugh had a solid outing tbf.

It was two pretty dire games this weekend.
Thank God for the minors.

System failure is all your hurlers suffered this weekend. Shouldnā€™t be too hard to fix.

Itā€™s Galway mate. We could blast wan or two teams away. Just not four in a row. We looked really awful
