THE managerial positions for Galway’s two flagship GAA teams are close to being filled for 2022 and it’s expected that Padraic Joyce will be confirmed as county senior football boss for a third successive season.

The Killererin clubman was appointed in October 2019 on a three-year term, with a review following the second season that has just been completed. Despite speculation to the contrary following relegation to Division 2 and a disappointing Connacht final defeat to Mayo, the two-time All-Ireland winner and three-time All-Star is expected to return for another season in charge of the Tribesmen.

This is as bad as the Treaty of Lisbon

Lannigans ball.

What the fuck is the delay, they should be taking his hand off and getting him in ASAP

If we could only get Davy involved somehow.

MD is ball hopping like a Cunnie in a handball alley. Great to see.

What’s he up to I wonder?
Insisting the Co Board is cleared ?

I think so. Allegedly a big sponsor can only make inroads if certain board members are fucked off and deal a big blow to Pat Mac. But my understanding is Pat Mac has a contract to sponsor for a couple more years at least.

There’s very little if any ego in MD bigtiming Hanley. I’m sure Hanley himself would understand.
