I think he could go well at the back.
Big and thick enough anyway. And wont require the subtlety of touch he rarely had in order to lead the line up front.
Great to see Cronin in there. Always felt he’s the only specialist corner back on the panel.
Not a lot of subtlety down the right on that team. Glad to see Fleming getting a shot though, M/E lads bring their own unique form of ignorance and he had a good year with the U20s after struggling at younger age groups.

Interesting team. Especially the wing backs. Limerick living inside the heads of inter county managers trying to find the next Kyle Hayes as a wing back.

Both teams be reasonably happy enough with that I’d say. Not great in 1st half but asserted in 3rd quarter. Donal O Shea and Ronan Glennon the picks of our lads I reckon.
We play Offaly again in the first round of the league. I’d imagine there’ll be some amount of chopping and changing between now and then too

Ronan Glennon was fantastic. An absolute terrier and took lovely scores. Still a lot of work to do but promising.
Barrett at corner back was excellent too. Cronin and Fitz played a few risky passes close in front of goal when there was no need.
Puckouts a fair disaster. Fahy and Concannon were well handled in the air.
Jayo done his hammy 5 minutes in after a promising start. Hopefully not serious but he didn’t seem to hopeful after the match.

Were Offaly fullish strength?
I think so. That goalie from 2018 was playing at wing forward for them and was good on frees. I think Oisin Kelly is out for the season.
