Is the write up below accurate?
Sounds like we are still.looking for a big, mobile CB.

Ya Mac was absolutely shocking. Himself and Bleahane were eaten up by Offaly. Walsh went sweeping at the end of the first half and improved a lot.

Better teams will destroy us if Mac is starting come summer. He’s slower than ever now.

Is Ballinasloe known as The Cabbage Patch or was that Athenry?

Usain Bolt would look slow on Jan 9th on a big in Ballinasloe tbf.

Mac lost a foot race at one stage where he was 3 metres away from the ball in the goalmouth and an Offaly cunt ran from the 45 and caught him.

Nah, Mac isn’t mobile enough for the way the game is played. Not at the very top level. He could be, with the right training, but I can’t see it.

Duggan Park Ballinasloe used to be the best surface in Galway, beautifully manicured always. The ground facilities belonged to another age however and suffered due to neglect. All the money went to Pearse Stadium, don’t get many big games anymore, can’t remember the last time a football game of note was played there. Might be called a cabbage patch as it’s shorter than a lot of pitches. Athenry a fine hurling venue.

Don’t think the Co Board own Duggan Park? It’s a fine venue but definitely gets neglected. Might get a few more games now to keep The King happy

We had an auld Galway lad here living in Limerick. He detested Salthill because it was so hard to get to.
We’d slag him…

ā€œWhere’s that Galway match on tomorrow Joeā€?
ā€œFucking Salthillā€ he’d say. ā€œShould be above in the Cabbage Patch where all good hurling matches are played. Salthill is only for footballā€
ā€œWhere’s the Cabbage Patch Joeā€?
ā€œFuck offā€

We never did find out. He’s dead now.

Ballinasloe is ideal for a Walsh Cup but I’d say there’d be war if it got a League match before Kenny Park. It’s also a pain in the bollocks to get out of unless you’re only driving the Pajero back to Ballyfa.

He’s right. Pearse stadium should be sold for development, and a stadium built just east of oranmore.

Wrong. Pearse Stadium is a lovely pleasant stroll for a league game. The players deserve to play in the city not some backwater bog

It’s miles from anywhere and a total shithole with no parking, a poor surface and a microclimate from Siberia.
The stats don’t lie. Young o Shea is The only ever Senior hurler for Galway from SKC. One. Ever. Today.
Enough said.

Haran erased from history again

Probably not mobile enough for senior IC, but he has been blaggarded.

I was impressed with Conor Walsh today, he’s a lovely hurler. Thought Barrett and Ronan Glennon hurled well. Galway were far from impressive.

Its a mile from my house and that’s all that matters

Absolutely hilarious news report from Marty there.

Donal O’Shea seems to be getting a nice reception for his performance today. Is he a bit light do ye think or could he be one for championship?
