I always thought it worth a try.

He is one of my favourite ever hurlers.

You on tonight perth?

I’d just like to announce my return to the Hurling bandwagon seeing as they won this weekend…I reckon we’ll win the All Ireland this year. The footballers lost last week, and the week before, they are shite.

Some win for the hurlers today in fairness, they might have found a full back in Ronan Burke and The Tan had a bull of a game at centre back. Delighted to see Padraig Brehony doing well at midfield, he was a superb minor and I was starting to fear that he would be swallowed up by the Black Hole that so many other Galway minors have fallen in to. The two new forwards, Cathal Mannion and Jason Flynn were both outstanding. Yeah, we should definitely win the All Ireland this year.

If we don’t win next week today’s matchup is going to be the relegation playoff. Dublin couldn’t possibly be as bad so I’d still give us a great chance of going down. The difference in pace and aggressiveness in the two games on tv today was unreal. Hold the bandwagon but good to see tannian Johnny Glynn and Healy looking sharp. Coen isn’t physical enough for corner back. Collins was excellent, Harte could have done more, the rest weren’t actually tested at all. Brehony looked great I thought. Yet again when joes not there a few will stand up, if he was there everything would just be hit towards him. Dublin are nothing special, how the fuck did we let them walk all over us in the Leinster final? They are putrid from play frees is all they have.

So was Tom Helebert on a 70 minute conference call on Sunday afternoon in Pearse Stadium?

Or is he back as part of Cunningham set up?

What’s the deal with Mannion and Flynn. What age are they, what kind of hurlers are they etc.

Was he prowling the sidelines or something?

Is he the one that caused all the problems last year, or the other one?

The other one.

In the stand from what I hear. Monitoring, advising and in a Galway top. (probably a conference call, was over heard spouting office jargon)

Another awful performance from the Galway footballers as they trail Laois in Portlaoise, 0-05 to 1-07 at half time, Galway played with a strong wind in the first half. One foot in Division 3 I’m afraid. Sooner Mulholland is gone, the better.

Laois 1-20 0-07 Galway

Division 3 awaits. The entire GBFM commentary team on suicide watch.
Complete disaster Conroy wasted at FF after a good year at midfield while they were getting cleaned out.
No game plan on display two points in the second half I wouldn’t put money on them to beat any team in the
country.

The hurlers only scoring 16 points in the Railway cup only compounds a bad day. It’s going to be a short year
in both codes.
