Any reasons for optimism this year?
Will JC be finally unleashed for a summer at centre back?
No and no.

Would ye chance him in the Goal. His puck outs would be immense.
Conor Cooney is out for Dublin game anyway. So is Niall burke from what I gather.
Skehill is back in the mix
Lack of explosive forwards makes us a predictable enough outfit
Connacht rugby supporting wankers
Climb back in under the duvet, take a moment to reflect and then slowly exit the other side this time.

He’s a Dub who thinks he’s from Laytrim…
His belly may come in handy to boot, but after macintyre we are wary of tipp Trojan horses* promising advice.
*piebald no doubt.
Galway (SF v Leitrim); Brian O’Donoghue; Johnny Duane, Finian Hanley, Cathal Sweeney; Liam Silke, Gary O’Donnell, Sean Denvir; Fiontan O Curraoin, Paul Conroy (captain); Gary Sice, Shane Walsh, Micheal Lundy; Peadar O Griofa, Damien Comer, Danny Cummins.
Change at keeper with O Donoghue coming in for Healy. You’d rather have a firmer grip on that position rather than all the chopping and changing that’s been going on heading into the Championship but regardless I’d expect us to beat the handicap* here with minimal fuss.
Whatever it is
It’s normally around now ye call back in Niall Healy
How many Corofin lads on your starting team lads ?

I was after a night of drink when I posted that KP and was after watching YouTube videos of the 1994 Connacht final. My dander was up.
Having said that, I spent a lovely weekend in Galway last year and there was more green n white flags than maroon n white. Galway is a rugby city, if not county.
Galway is a rugby city now alright. Filled with cunts.
Damien Comer is the best forward in the country
From Mayo
Fucking Mayo refugees have our City taken over.
Is there anyone left in Mayo?
Galway, Limerick, Dublin, Kildare is full of them.
It’s like there is an infinite supply of Mayo people!
Galway winning handy not out of 2nd gear. comer aside it’s been poor fare all round.
Shane Walsh very lucky not to have ended up like Jerry Collins by the sounds of this.

Galway have suffered a major set-back ahead of their Connacht semi-final showdown with Mayo with star forward Shane Walsh ruled out after being injured in a fatal car accident.
The 22-year-old All-Star nominee will miss next weekend’s clash with champions Mayo after suffering a suspected broken finger and wrist in an accident which claimed the life of a 55-year-old Co Galway man.
Walsh was taken to University College Hospital along with the 20-year old passenger who was in the car in which the driver died, following the accident which gardaí say happened at 2.20am on Saturday morning at Cloonmore on the N17 outside Tuam.
The extent of the injuries suffered by Walsh are expected to be known on Monday but it is feared he will be out of football for the summer.
The 55-year-old man who died in the accident was also very involved in the GAA and is well-known in the north Galway area where he worked as a taxi driver.
Walsh, a former All-Ireland U-21 winner, was also nominated for Young Player of the Year last season and produced one of the highlights of the summer with an audacious point against Tipperary in the All-Ireland qualifiers.
He had starred for Galway in a challenge match against Cork in Gort earlier on Friday evening.
The chairman of Galway football committee, Tadhg O Conghaile, said the sympathy of the GAA community was with the family of the deceased man and both who were injured.
“It is a terrible tragedy and our thoughts and prayers are with the family of the deceased man. He was very involved in the GAA himself. It’s dreadful," he said.
“Our thoughts are also with Shane and the other person injured in the accident and hopefully they will make a swift and full recovery."
