Kurt Cobain - The Voice of a Generation
Never liked them. Dislike Kurt’s whiney vocals but I do appreciate his taste in music. Anyone who quotes Neil Young in their suicide note is ok.

Bad of him to leave a 19 month old child, mind. He had no end of money. If he struggled with fame, there’s the door, pal. Tis easy enough disappear and live a quiet life someplace.
It wasn’t just about fame. He had a history of depression dating back to when he was a gasĂșn. Two of his uncles shot themselves.

That said though he had a kid to look after and one would think he would have made more of an effort to kick the smack.

I get that and I know he had a history of some kind of stomach problem which the smack alleviated, which, added to his jaundiced view on life will probably lead to someone who isn’t the happiest of campers. But he had millions of quid and a new baby who he said he loved. And he was intelligent. And an intelligent person knows the key to beating depression is not to spend your entire time boozing, doing smack, smoking pot and taking benzos. Even I know that.
Real desperation is sucking some fat English blokes cock for a few bob to go and pay off debts or put on some bets. Cobain wouldn’t have known desperation if it’d come up and bit him on the bollox like @Fagan ODowd 's favourite Rhodesian Ridgeback was fond of doing.

What a post

I think Irish people should know that depression rarely takes account of having millions of quid and even having a young daughter. The amount of suicides in Ireland should show that.

Enough about his depression and let’s go back to talking about why they one of the greatest bands ever.

Being married to Courtney Love is about as good a reason to top yourself as I’ve ever heard

Define generation X mate? When did you have to be born and where in America did you have to be?

Most fans of that time would have been born between 72-80 roughly. America is something you have in your heart, mate.

How many plane crashes did Kurt solve?

You’d think that somebody who wrote “I’m On A Plane” should have had considerable ability as an aeronautical sleuth, but obviously not.
