Kurt Cobain - The Voice of a Generation

Iā€™ve done so, buddy.

Administered by whom?

Fellows embarrassing themselves here with their lack of knowledge of music.

I know what i like. Thereafter i couldnā€™t give a monkeyā€™s.

A PJ Oā€™Connell type character with a Guns Nā€™Roses tshirt, a faded blue wrangler jean and a pair of FCA boots.

That sounds like a right mans man.

Nirvana rock.

as an aside tho Hole fronted by Courtney Love and Melissa Auf de mer produced a rather decent album that i liked and listened to around 1999 , there was a song on it called Northern Star that was a very nice song i recall, think they fell apart when Melissa joined Smashing Pumpkins

i was totally messed up music wise back then, i remember buying Mad Professorā€™s remix of Massive Attackā€™s Protection also at this time, thatā€™s a masterpeice BTW , i also was listening to Asian Dub Foundation at the timeā€¦ very mixed up listeningā€¦
i always despised guitar rock tho, shit like soundgarden, metallica , that awful melloncollie shit by smashing pumpkins, ā€¦ i did see Placebo in the SFX in 1997 tho, that was a great show, maybe i was questioning my sexuality at the time

placebo had some decent stuff tho, every watch the video of Song to Say goodbey?, thatā€™s a very odd, moving a scary fucking track, special needs is a classic as well

I had some nicely introspective moments to Nothingman

A crowd of lads who were 9 when Nirvana came on the scene saying how it was an incredible moment. Fucking dickheads. Shit band.

Frances Bean Cobain has admitted she isnā€™t a fan of her fatherā€™s music. Speaking to Rolling Stone ahead of the release of the documentary Cobain: Montage of Heck, she said: ā€œI donā€™t really like Nirvana that much. Sorry, promotional people, Universal. Iā€™m more into Mercury Rev, Oasis, Brian Jonestown Massacre. The grunge scene is not what Iā€™m interested in.ā€

Odd that sheā€™d rail against the scene which drove her father to suicide. Is she any use?

The scene drove him to suicide?

Sheā€™s definitely her motherā€™s daughter.

shudders

I doubt a night out with her would be boring, anyway.
