as an aside tho Hole fronted by Courtney Love and Melissa Auf de mer produced a rather decent album that i liked and listened to around 1999 , there was a song on it called Northern Star that was a very nice song i recall, think they fell apart when Melissa joined Smashing Pumpkins

i was totally messed up music wise back then, i remember buying Mad Professor’s remix of Massive Attack’s Protection also at this time, that’s a masterpeice BTW , i also was listening to Asian Dub Foundation at the time… very mixed up listening…
i always despised guitar rock tho, shit like soundgarden, metallica , that awful melloncollie shit by smashing pumpkins, … i did see Placebo in the SFX in 1997 tho, that was a great show, maybe i was questioning my sexuality at the time

placebo had some decent stuff tho, every watch the video of Song to Say goodbey?, that’s a very odd, moving a scary fucking track, special needs is a classic as well
