I never said that - Iâm just saying the substance is not there with him as it is with other players. Thatâs not his fault but itâs still relevant.
Youâve never seen him play. Your opinion is irrelevant
What do you mean by substance?
There is no substance to him. He never played at a high level, thatâs the point that is relevant.
He played against Cork and Kerry loads of times and generally excelled. How is a lad playing in the full forward line supposed to single handedly bring a team to a high level?
Itâs easy to turn it on in exhibition style matches when your team is getting filleted - like some lad from Eibar grabbing two consolation goals against Barcelona. At the end of the day it doesnât matter.
Still completely irrelevant even if true.
In 2002 Kerry made the AI final and lost by a point yet 2 other teams made munster final. That would indicate it was strong. Cork had been in the final only 3 years earlier and had recently won a Minor with a star studded team. Tipp were quite good and had also been very competitive at underage a few years previous.
Declan Browne was better than Bradley simply because he had a better head and was more disciplined. You donât seem to appreciate that aspect of the game, but it does matter.
He also excelled when they put it up to Cork and Kerry the few times they did
If it was soccer rules he would have been playing with dublin by the age of 19. In soccer the best come together at clubs. That does not happen in gaa.
Kerry will beat Cork anytime it means something, history has shown us that. Cork went out to get filleted by Kerry when it really mattered that year.
What, all 2 times?
Every time. Neither side could mark him. Several defenders have him as their most difficult opponent.
But why am i talking to some browl who never saw him.
So he was the star man in nearly every game he ever played no matter the circumstances but you still think he has no substance. What an absolute weirdo you are
Itâs easy to perform in nothing matches where the game is over after 15 mins. Paddy Bradley performed in real matches, he has far more big game pedigree than some unproven like Browne. Bradley has the concrete evidence behind him, Browne doesnât.
Bradley destroyed Dublin on his own in an All Ireland QF, did it against Kerry in an All Ireland SF, took Dessie Mone (one of the best man markers in the game at the time) for 2-06 from play in a closely fought qualifier against a good Monaghan team. Paddy Bradley had substance - only Canavan and McConville scored more in Ulster and Bradley played a lot less games and would have been a heavier scorer from play in by far and away the toughest province.
Those are facts.
How many serious games did he play against top teams in his career?
ZzzzzzzzzzzâŚ
Thatâs a good line-up by the way. Ken McGrath, JJ Delaney, Richie Bennis ones would all be worth tuning in to. If ye can stop having this argument again for the 700th time, when does this series kick off?
Iâm not fucking wikipedia. How many times did you see him play?
Then shut up if you canât answer the question.
Thry are not facts. Just your opinion.
Are you denying he is Ulsterâs third All Time Top Scorer?
Or that he took Dessie Mone for 2-06 from play in a knockout Championship game?
