Leinster Hurling Championship 2024

Henry blaming age? Fucking hell

“We trun absolutely everything at it”, says Henry.

Stephen Kenny-esque.

If they’ve a full hand I’d give Dublin a decent chance in the Leinster Final.

As would I.

Looking at the red card, I think the above was correct, it was a very harsh red, and Lyons couldn’t wait to give it, but give that little bugger a chance to be centre stage, and he’ll always take it.
It looked very very harsh in real time though as it happened so fast. It looked as much like burke braced for impact as cleaned him, and it didn’t hit the head, but.
There were several other marginal calls went against us.
Never mind.
Club up next.

Possibly, but against kk, Clare or cark I think they’d be well short. The touch isn’t quite there. They are fit, strong and game as you like though, and looked a happy group.
Henry and O Shea don’t seem to get on I don’t think.
Glynn looked like he had a right go at the Galway management when he was coming off

If he couldn’t do it with that Thomastown team when he was there you’d have to wonder about his management credentials.

2 mins added time at the end of the first half. He was that efficient

Power is very one paced. Serious engine though, covers mighty ground and clever with his movement. A great felka. O ’ Connell had serious wheels though.

Power ghosted in behind for two important scores.

I’d be more confident this year than others that Dublin won’t lose by 15+ in AIQF.

As an aside, I was sitting beside Shane Walsh’s dad at the match. A gentleman.

How do Dublin go about getting some sort of crowd to this final? I would give ye a much, much better chance than in previous years.

From the other angle that could as easily have been a card for the Dublin lad. Just plain wrong. The carky boys are circling the wagons as always.

I saw the kk game live. The peno decision was inexplicable. Absolutely mental. Kilkenny bought some really cheap frees after it also - completely on the cheap side.

The Galway sending off was also on the really poor side. I’ve only seen a replay but it looked really soft.

The penalty decision is very explainable.

KK earned it in the first half with Keoghan and were given it in the second half.

Referee was not up to his job. But he’s a volunteer.

That’s it really. Was at it and it wasn’t a penalty. Kk half back line tied up wexford 1st 20 minutes second half.

Exactly. Not saying it’s right, either.

That wasnt a penalty in the first half. My good pal @Kyle can explain as he did so live on here, but it didn’t meet the specific criteria to be given as one.

It was a replica of the one Horgan was given and scored 2 weeks ago.

So it was. (Davy nod)

Except it wasnt. O Hanlon made sure he didnt hit the ground
