Rushe is the perfect type of lad for Ryan to mark. Doesn’t have too much pace and will tend to run backwards once he gets possession. Ryan is fucked once a lad runs at him or turns him. I expect him to dominate Rushe and to send him back out to the half forward line.
Rushe repeatedly won the ball, turned and absolutely bulldozed straight towards goal last Sunday, e.g. setting up the first goal.

I’m eagerly awaiting Sunday’s game. I expect the Wexford lads to be very, very hard hitting on Sunday.
Rushe v Ryan will be a fascinating tussle. Rushe is a fabulous player but Ryan is the ideal full back to deal with him with his (Ryan’s) pace and aerial ability.
I hope we don’t play a sweeper but I fear we will.
I think we might have a little bit too much for the cunts in the end but it’ll be close enough.
